The duties of the position include performing vitamins analysis on food samples, sample preparation for sample analysis, data review and reduction, providing data interpretation and opinion, ensuring regulatory procedures are followed, maintaining records and conducting method validation. The position requires at least a Master of Science degree in Nutrition combined with two years experience analyzing beta carotene and retinol in foods and corn products. The experience must include the use of Empower integration software, interpretation of chromatography and the use HPLC-High-performance liquid chromatography (UV-Vis and fluorometric detection) to detect, measure and analyze food and feed.
