GC Manager

BUSINESS UNIT: Metairie, Louisiana

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the daily production of the laboratory unit
• Render technical expertise for solving daily analytical problems
• Manage lab scheduling to ensure meeting job deadlines
• Ensure compliance with the ISO 17025 International Quality Standard
• Perform daily analytical data validation
• Manage Analyst training and validation
• Manage new method development and validation
• Manage equipment maintenance and validation

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

MS degree in Analytical Chemistry with 3-5+Years of relevant laboratory experience, or PHD degree in Analytical Chemistry

Proven success with trace analysis of residues and contaminants

3-5 years of experience with instrumentation, especially establishing operational qualification protocols, calibration, and maintenance of GC-MS.

Some HPLC, and ICP instrumentation experience preferred
