DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Plant Health Services Business Unit located in Gilroy, CA is seeking a full or part time employee to assist the plant diagnostics program at that location.  The position requires direct involvement in the daily testing activities.  The incumbent will assist and perform testing of diagnostic samples

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should possess an AA or B.S. degree (Biology, Biochemistry, Plant Pathology or related field).  Laboratory experience and knowledge in disease diagnostics techniques including ELISA, PCR, and microbiological culture is desirable but not required. The applicant will be trained and expected to adhere to strict established lab protocols. Long periods of standing and lifting (up to 30#) may be required.
