The Food Safety Systems Consulting Services Department brings a vast array of food industry experience to the table.

Food Safety Prerequisite Programs: The first step in developing a good Food or Dietary Supplements safety program is to develop, evaluate and document the prerequisite programs.  These include Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs or cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Sanitation Procedures (SSOPs), Allergen Control Program, a Facility Security Program and a Product Recall Program.  The Eurofins Food Safety Systems consultants can assist in the development or improvement of these programs.

 
Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Point (HACCP): Our experienced consultants can assist with the development or evaluation of HACCP Plans for food safety, the validation of HACCP Plans, and in preparation for facility audits for HACCP compliance. They can help develop an appropriate product sampling protocol to verify that the HACCP Plan is operating according to plan.


Quality HACCP: The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) has put emphasis both Food Safety and Food Quality.  On the Food Quality side, many are applying HACCP principles to improve the control of quality as well as safety.  Although the process of developing a Quality HACCP plan is similar to one for Food Safety, it can be quite a bit more complex.  Eurofins Food Safety Systems can provide assistance in developing a robust Quality Plan based on HACCP Principles.

   
Allergen Control Plan Development: In the past few years there have been more food product recalls as a result of allergen related concerns than for all other reasons combined. Your first line of defense against allergen cross contamination is a strong Allergen Control Program. Our consultants can help you develop a program to reduce risk and raise awareness in your facility.


SQF Audit Preparation: If you are preparing for a GFSI audit (SQF or BRC) and need to have a review of your systems, including assistance with revisions, our SQF qualified consultants can assist your company to be ready for the auditor when he or she arrives.


SQF Practitioner Training:
  If your company has multiple facilities, you may find it both economical and beneficial to train your SQF Practitioners and other staff together in the requirements for an SQF Audit.  Our certified SQF Trainer can conduct SQF Practitioner training at your location.  Please contact us for more information.
