Eurofins Spectrum Analytical performs environmental testing in accordance with EPA and SW846 methodologies, Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater and selected state methodologies. All matrices are analyzed including drinking water, waste and ground waters, soils, sludge, sediments, oils and air.

The volatile organic department resides is isolated from all other laboratory departments. This prevents laboratory cross-contamination commonly found in the environment laboratory industry. Up-to-date methodologies combined with state-of-the-art equipment provide timely, accurate and reliable data.

Our semivolatile organics laboratories are equipped with gas chromatographs and mass spectrometers that provide the capability to analyze samples 24 hours a day. The latest in double injection auto samplers, as well as microwave extraction has enhanced and assisted in achieving full automation and efficiency of sample preparation and analysis.

Up-to-date techniques and equipment for trace metals analysis, ICP mass spectrometry has grown to become the technique of choice for trace level multi-elemental analysis. The capabilities for confirming data such as lead and arsenic at trace levels in water far exceed those of the more commonly used ICPs.

Our wet chemistry department utilizes leading edge instrumentation such as ion chromatography, flow injection analysis and the latest technology in TOC analyzers. We continue to upgrade ouranalytical equipment as new procedures become accepted by government regulatory agencies and as new instrumentation becomes available allowing us to become more and more efficient in this labor intensive area.

Our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) surpasses the systems in place at most other laboratories and affords us the resources and flexibility to provide complex functions and data storage, Through the LIMS database we can easily and efficiently store, retrieve, correlate and monitor large amounts of data. We can then send it directly to the client via electronic data delivery (EDD) or allow the client to securely access data on the Internet.
