Eurofins Food Safety Systems Partners with McGill University for Public Food Safety Training for Canadian Food Manufacturers

Eurofins Food Safety Systems (EFSS) and the Food Safety and Quality Program (FSQP) at McGill University are excited to announce a signed agreement to provide co-branded public training for the Canadian food manufacturing industry. The courses include the highly sought-after FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual Training as well as GFSI benchmarked standard training to SQF and BRC. The partnership is an exceptional pairing as Eurofins and McGill University share a common interest in the success of the Canadian food manufacturing industry.

The first course offering, the FSMA Preventive Controls course for Human Food, will be held June 27th-29th at McGill’s Macdonald Campus. Additional courses will follow this fall. This collaboration further strengthens Eurofins’ commitment to offer its full service food safety portfolio to the Canadian market and McGill’s pledge to provide professional development to its students and food industry professionals. The parties seek to further promote the cohesion recently recognized by the US and Canada’s food safety regulatory officials. “The new partnership with Eurofins Food Safety Systems represents a further step in the development of the Food Safety and Quality Program as we realize our mission to provide food safety training and information to the Canadian Food Manufacturing Industry,” said Lawrence Goodridge, Director of the FSQP at McGill. “Eurofins is a well-recognized provider of food safety solutions, and by teaming together, we can combine our food safety expertise to deliver a robust educational program to food producers in Canada.”
