Infrared spectroscopy, or the infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum, is light with a longer wavelength and lower frequency than visible light.


When a test sample is exposed to a light source, the light is either transmitted through or reflected off the sample, creating a spectrum for that particular sample.

QTA®  uses patented models and cloud computing to process the spectra and extract information regarding the composition of the sample.
