Melissa Greenwald, MD Laboratory Consultant
Dr. Greenwald is a board certified Internist who graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1997. Dr. Greenwald was on the clinical staff of Walter Reed Army Medical Center until its closure in 2010. Dr. Greenwald is an internationally recognized expert in donor screening and testing policy. She reviewed donor screening assays for organ and tissue donors at FDA between 2002 and 2014, and has served as the Chief of the Human Tissues Branch, OCTGT/CBER/FDA as well as the director of the Division of Transplantation at the Health Resources and Services Administration.
