This test determines the total number of viable microorganisms in or on a component.  It is performed on any product that requires control and/or monitoring of bioburden counts as part of the sterilization program.  Eurofins DPT performs bioburden testing according to the United States Pharmacopeia Chapters <61> on Microbial Enumeration Tests, as well as applicable AAMI Radiation Sterilization Standard (AAMI/ANSI/ISO 11137 and EO Sterilization Standard (AAMI/ISO 11135).
