Basic Test Package for Engine Coolant

Our Basic Test Package for engine coolants is designed to monitor coolant maintenance levels to prevent the most common coolant-related engine problems, such as: abnormal wear; freezing/boiling point control; prime metal pitting; and corrosion. This package is recommended for routine testing and analysis.

Premium Test Package for Coolant

 Our Premium Test Package for engine coolant monitors: (1) the corrosive attributes of the coolant itself (acidic or alkaline); and (2) metal movement (the corrosiveness of each metal affected). This package includes all of the tests in the Basic Test Package (above), plus SCA Number, Total Hardness, and Corrosion Inhibitors.

Preventive Maintenance Test Package for Engine Coolant

 Our Preventive Maintenance Test Package for engine coolant is designed to identify possible sources of problems detected in our Basic and Advanced Test Packages. Common problem sources include: combustion gas leaks; air contamination; electrical ground problems; localized over-heating; chemical breakdown; and other internal or external sources of contamination. The Preventive Maintenance Test Package includes all of the tests in the Basic and Premium Test Packages (above), plus Contaminants (Nitrites, Nitrates, Chlorides and Sulfates).

Predictive Maintenance Test Package for Engine Coolant

 Our Predictive Maintenance Test Package for engine coolant is designed to measure the degree of coolant degradation and acid formation due to any of the cooling system problems identified through the Preventive Maintenance Test Package. (Common problem sources include combustion gas leaks, air contamination, electrical ground problems, localized over-heating, chemical breakdown or other contamination sources inside or outside the system.) This package includes all of the tests in the Basic, Premium and Predictive Maintenance Test Packages (above), plus Degradation Acids (Glycolates, Acetates, Formates and Oxylates).
