PFAS orders for Chrome Plating Facilities
Recently, the California State Water Resources Control Board issued Orders to chrome plating facilities to analyze PFAS at their sites. Specifically, the Order requires laboratories to be accredited by the California Environmental Accreditation Program (ELAP) and requires the analysis of 25 PFAS analytes in compliance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Table B-15 of Quality Systems Manual (QSM) version 5.1 or later.

· Wastewater by EPA Method 537M by DoD QSM Table B-15
· Hazardous Waste (soils and non-potable water) by EPA Method 537M by DoD QSM Table B-15
· Additionally, Eurofins has the capabilities to analyze for the additional replacement compounds listed in Table 2 of Order WQ 2019-0045-DWQ.

We also support specialty testing such as PFAS in source air emissions and the production of TOP (Total Oxidizable Precursors) Assay data.
