Who We Are

Eurofins Craft Technologies in Wilson, NC is an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory which specializes in the analysis of carotenoids, lipids, vitamins, and phytochemicals, in biological materials, raw materials, and foods. We provide personalized, prompt, accurate, and confidential analytical services to the greater food, beverage and supplement industries as well as support both governmental and academia needs. Founded in 1994, we are comprised of industry-recognized scientists capable of specialized solutions for the most complex nutritional research projects.

• Carotenoid Strength Testing - Including astaxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthin, beta-carotene, lycopene, canthaxanthin, and more. 
• Vitamin Strength Testing - Including Vitamin A (retinol forms), C, D (D2 & D3), E (tocopherols tocotrienols), K (K1 and K2 as MK4 and MK7) and CoQ10. We support various forms of these vitamins.
• Phenolic Strength Testing - Including polyphenols, anthocyanidins, catechins, flavonoids, isoflavones, phenolics, stilbenes, phycocyanins, bixin/norbixin, xanthophylls, and others.

Who We Support

Food, Beverages, and Dietary Supplements
With proper testing, foods, beverages, dietary supplements and functional foods are checked for content, misbranding, and adulteration. We routinely work with many different finished products and ingredients to test for various vitamins and phytochemicals.

Academic and Government Agencies
Our lab performs food-based testing used in government databases as guidance for dietary recommendations to dieticians and public use. In addition, we perform analytical testing that helps support grant awards, special funding, and undergraduate and graduate research in support of thesis or dissertation.

Zoological Research
We have been been involved in analysis of many components of animal foods to ensure the quality of companion animal diets. We assist several companies, zoos, and universities with research and development to identify new products that will improve and lengthen the lives of animals.

 

Clinical Industry
We are experienced with nutrient analysis in serum, tissue, urine, and breast milk. (Publications available upon request.) We are able to perform non-CLIA required special projects involving R&D to identify new products that will improve and lengthen the lives of humans and companion animals.
