Eurofins Frontier Global Sciences is an advanced analytical laboratory specializing in mercury, trace metals testing and metals speciation analysis. Since 1991, our expertise in measuring trace metals in air, soil, water, sediments and tissues has produced innovative and reliable analytical methods that are utilized around the world. It is our mission to provide our clients the highest quality, scientifically sound/defensible and cost-effective trace metals and metals speciation analytical data. Eurofins Frontier Global Sciences is proud to support private industry, government agencies and the regulatory community with metals analysis methods that we served to both help develop and validate, many of which are now EPA methods serving clients across the United States.
Eurofins Frontier Global Sciences was the architect and major contributor of the EPA 1600 Series Metals and Metals Speciation methods including EPA 1631 (total mercury in a host of sample types), EPA 1630 (Methyl Hg), EPA 1638 (full suite of metals) and was chosen by the EPA to be the Hg and Metals Reference and Validation Laboratory that performed the validation of these methods. We are a NELAP (National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program) accredited laboratory as well as an ISO 17025 certified laboratory which is becoming important to not only the international clients we serve, but also our US-based clients that recognize the high level of quality that is required by ISO.
Since 1991, Eurofins Frontier Global Sciences has continued to innovate metals analysis methods and helped to develop and validate EPA 1640 (metals in brackish, seawater) and EPA 1669 (Trace Metals Clean field sampling, equipment and bottle cleaning). Further, we served to validate and help develop nationally and internationally recognized methods for measuring Arsenic Speciation (EPA 1632), Mercury Speciation (EPA 1630) as well as a host of additional methods for measuring metals speciation in selenium, cobalt, vanadium, chromium, iron and molybdenum.
