Military EMC Testing

Your industry, our focus

End-to-end testing helping you ensure the electromagnetic compatibility of your equipment & subsystems to any version of MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464.

Our streamlined testing process keeps lead time to a minimum and utilizes automation software to complete testing quickly and accurately.

With over 30 years of MIL-STD testing experience, we evaluate your equipment and subsystems to extreme electromagnetic conditions to ensure the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and mission readiness of your equipment.

Military contractors worldwide are sensitive to costs, design cycles, and performance. Equipment is vigorously challenged to meet stringent MIL-STD requirements to endure the harsh electrical conditions of today’s battlefields. Our end-to-end testing capabilities, expert test technicians & engineers, and single-source testing solutions help you meet demanding contract deadlines.

Our streamlined testing process keeps lead time to a minimum and utilizes automation software to complete testing quickly and accurately.

Why Eurofins E&E North America?

Eurofins E&E has been performing military EMC testing for over 20 years. Our management and testing staff have worked on hundreds of military projects for many of the largest military contractors in the world. We know what is expected by the US DoD in test procedures and reports. We have honed our military EMC testing process to result in a high quality service.

Eurofins E&E has extensive military EMC testing capabilities. We offer all test methods to all test levels for MIL-STD-461. Military EMC testing is offered at three locations, Baltimore, MD, Santa Clara, CA, and Austin, TX. We have separate and specifically designed chambers, test areas, and trained staff, reserved to support military EMC testing. Unique capabilities include 200V/m radiated susceptibility, 50,000 V/m electromagnetic pulse (RS105), indirect lightning, shielding effectiveness, power quality (MIL-STD-704, 1275, 1399-300), 1,600+ A/m DC magnetic susceptibility with 2 meter diameter Helmholtz coils (1399-070), and the ability to accommodate large and heavy equipment under test.

Eurofins E&E provides military contractors with excellent customer service by acting as a partner in the pre-testing and final testing stages of the design process. We understand how to follow standard or tailored test methods and offer to create test procedures. Eurofins E&E does what it takes to accommodate test schedules. We pull our resources from the other groups, labs, and locations, and work multiple shifts, overtime, and weekends to meet the needs of the project. As a commercial test lab, there are no lengthy security processes to delay lead times and we can offer a quotation for testing within 2 days of receipt of requests.
