Ask an Expert Series - Topic #2

How should I submit a sample to a third party lab?

"Clients should use appropriate statistical sampling plans to aseptically collect samples for analysis. Samples collected from perishable products should be appropriately chilled after collection and during transport to the laboratory. The performing laboratory will recommend an appropriate sample size to be submitted for testing." - Daiona Newberry, Client Specialist of Eurofins Microbiology Laboratories, Inc. in Louisville, KY.
