Eurofins Food Chemistry Testing Madison, Inc. (EFCT) Expands its Testing Capabilities to Detect and Quantify BPA

June 24, 2025 – In response to evolving regulatory expectations and growing public health concerns for Bisphenol A (BPA) Eurofins Food Chemistry Testing Madison, Inc. (EFCT) has expanded its advanced testing capabilities to detect and quantify BPA. EFCT has extended the analyte and matrix scope of AOAC Official Method 2017.15. Using highly selective LC-MS/MS technology, the laboratory can now accurately identify BPA and key structural analogues—including BPAF, BPB, BPF, and BPS—in a wide variety of matrices. This includes high-fat, high-protein, and high-carbohydrate foods, infant formulas, dietary supplements, adult nutrition products, botanical extracts, beverages, and food packaging migration simulants.
With these enhancements, Eurofins Food Chemistry Testing Madison, Inc continues to lead in food safety science, providing clients with trusted relevant data and compliance support in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
“Keeping food and dietary supplements safe for consumers is our top priority—and we back it with state-of-the-art technology,” says Ed Ladwig, President of Eurofins Food Chemistry Testing Madison, Inc. “Our advanced technology allows us to detect BPA at trace levels across multiple product types, helping our clients meet the highest standards for food and supplement safety and regulatory compliance.”
