Eurofins Meat Testing Welcomes Brian McFarlane as Senior Director of Technical Services

Brian McfarlaneEurofins Meat Testing is thrilled to announce Brian McFarlane has recently joined the organization as the Senior Director of Technical Services for our Meat, Poultry, and Seafood Testing Division. With almost three decades of experience in the meat industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. He began with an Animal Science degree from Michigan State University, followed by a master’s degree in Meat Color Science from Kansas State University. He then began his professional career with IBP in 1996, later transitioning to Tyson following an acquisition. In 2017, McFarlane relocated to Colorado to join JBS, where he served as the VP of Food Safety and Quality Assurance.

Throughout his career, he has been committed to advancing food safety and quality standards. In 2020, he joined Colorado State University as an affiliate staff member in Animal Science. McFarlane is excited to leverage his expertise with Eurofins to assist a wide range of companies in addressing regulatory and technical challenges within the food industry.

In addition to his role in the food industry, McFarlane and his partner Becky own a cold weather clothing company called Shiver Shield, offering innovative solutions to keep individuals warm in harsh climates.
