Eurofins SF Analytical Laboratories, Inc. Now Offers New Immunoglobulins (IgG) Protein Analysis Testing 

Eurofins SFA is excited to offer a new IgG protein analysis that provides improved sensitivity, better accuracy, and faster turnaround time relative to ELISA or alternative techniques offered.  The analysis is performed according to AOAC 2010.01. The verified sample matrices currently available are the following: colostrum, bovine whey protein concentrate, bovine milk products, infant formula, and various dietary supplements.

How does it work:

- Sample powders are homogenized in a sodium chloride solution, then precipitated through the addition of a sodium acetate buffer. Samples are centrifuged, and the supernatant is filtered for analysis. IgG calibration standards are prepared and analyzed alongside samples using a verified protein affinity LC-UV method.

- This method uses a unique protein affinity cartridge and a pH-dependent gradient to differentially elute IgG from the other proteins in the sample. If the sample matrix is different from those which have been verified, a matrix extension can be performed to ensure compatibility.
