International Olive Council Renews Accreditation of Eurofins Analytical Laboratories for Olive Oil Testing Excellence
December 2025 — Eurofins Analytical Laboratories, Inc. is proud to announce its renewed certification as an approved testing laboratory by the International Olive Council (IOC), once again becoming the largest and only independent contract laboratory in the United States to hold this prestigious accreditation.
The International Olive Council—the world’s leading authority on olive oil quality, purity, and authenticity—accredits a select group of laboratories that demonstrate excellence in chemical analysis and compliance with internationally recognized testing methods. IOC certification plays a critical role in safeguarding the global olive oil supply by ensuring accurate assessment of quality, detecting adulteration, and supporting consumer protection.
Regaining this accreditation underscores Eurofins’ continued commitment to delivering the highest standard of analytical rigor. The certification process requires laboratories to undergo extensive method verification, performance evaluation, and proof of consistency with the IOC’s strict scientific protocols.
