Agner graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology from University of Havana in 2000 and started working as an associate researcher in the field of mycology. He moved to South Florida in 2023 and started his career in the Indoor Air Quality/Environmental Microbiology Industry. Agner has been part of this industry for over 20 years. During this time, he’s been able to gather vast experience in environmental microbiology and mycology. Areas of expertise include Legionella recovery and identification, fungal and bacteria identification, Indoor Air Quality assessments, USP 797, among others. In his latest role as a Laboratory Director for Eurofins Built Environment Fort Lauderdale, he’s been actively involved in analyzing samples, customer service, training of new employees, method development, quality assurance, technical expert, and all aspects of day-to-day laboratory operations.
