Carlos "Duane" Salinas has been with Eurofins J3 Resources, Inc. since its inception in October 2000. As Eurofins J3’s Asbestos Technical Expert, Duane is primarily responsible for maintaining Eurofins J3’s industry superiority regarding knowledge, and quality of all current and pending PLM, PCM, and TEM analytical methods.  He maintains laboratory equipment and maintenance records and acts as reference and resident expert of all asbestos analytical methods to ensure full compliance with ISO 17025:2005, NVLAP, and AIHA requirements. Duane often represents Eurofins J3 at professional associations including AIHA, EIA, and ASSE.

Duane graduated from the University of Texas in 1986 with a degree in geology. Duane serves as one of Eurofins J3’s senior analysts, with over 30 years’ experience in asbestos testing. His vast knowledge of and experience with all laboratory methods facilitates his ability to work within the various labs at Eurofins J3 Resources, Inc., including the TEM, micro-biological, soils, metals and silica labs.
