Mandy Trieu

Expertise: Endotoxin, PCR, Quality Control

Mandy Trieu is a seasoned microbiologist with over 10 years of lab experience in environmental testing with expertise in qPCR, Legionella sp., bacterial ID, USP 797, and endotoxins. She holds a BS in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology. Mandy has led numerous projects involving the detection and quantification of pathogens such as Legionella sp., various fungal species, SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), and Aleutian mink disease (ADV) utilizing multiplex real-time qPCR. She has hands-on knowledge of nucleic acid extraction and assay validation. Mandy is currently the Quality Assurance Manager for the Northeast laboratories overseeing the quality program and assuring lab compliance to ISO 17025, CDC ELITE, NVLAP, AIHA, NY ELAP, and beyond.
