Courier FAQ

What days and where do you offer courier pickups?

Yes, our location currently offers courier pickups routinely Monday – Friday in Orange, Los Angeles & Riverside County.

How do I order a courier pickup?

After the lab has confirmed your location is within the courier route, you will order a courier pick up by sending an email to micro-losangeles@us10.eurofins-info.com with a Subject Line “PickUp Request”. We ask that clients request pickups the day before pickup is needed, the latest time a request can be made is 9AM the day of pickup. In the body of the email simply ask “Can I schedule a courier pickup for Date______?” The lab will reply to your email and confirm your pickup has been scheduled.

When will the courier arrive for my samples?

Our courier(s) drive to multiple cities throughout their route and our team aims to keep the route(s) as consistent as possible. The lab will advise a courier pickup window based on your location when site is approved for courier pickups. Please keep in mind that emergencies and traffic may cause unexpected delays.

Can we leave the sample(s) outside for pickup?

In order to keep a secure chain of custody of your samples we do require your personnel hand off your sample(s) to the courier upon pickup. The courier will request your personnel to sign off on the “Chain of Custody” with their name and the time of pickup.

Does your courier operate on weekends?

Currently, we do offer a limited courier route on Saturdays. Please note the lab does request any Saturday pickups are requested by 4PM the Friday prior.

Does your courier operate on holidays?

On holidays when FedEx/UPS are closed the courier route is typically closed. Given adequate notice the lab will do its best to accommodate your holiday request, send an email to micro-losangeles@us10.eurofins-info.com with this type of request.

What if the courier has not arrived and it is passed my regular pickup time?

We recommend a quick email or phone call requesting a follow up on your scheduled pickup. Our team will work to confirm the ETA of the courier and provide an update.

Anne Chi

Regional Cluster Leader

Anne guides and directs the Western US collection of Eurofins Microbiology Laboratories, applying her previous experiences of laboratory start-up, technical knowledge and business operations to support growth and service within the region.

Viridiana Castro

Business Unit Manager

As the business unit manager, Viri is responsible for all business and functional operations at the microbiology lab in Tustin. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Science from the University of California, Irvine and is currently working towards completing an MBA degree at California State University, Long Beach.

Nicholas Johnson

Regional Sales Manager

Nick is a graduate of the University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, where he also played college golf. His goals with Eurofins include fostering strategic partnerships and expanding Eurofins' footprint in Southern California.

Jennifer Self

Analytical Sales Manager

With a bachelor’s degree in biology and experience serving various aspects of the lab including performing testing, customer service, sales, and administrative work, Jennifer has a depth of knowledge in Eurofins analytical testing services.
