Andrea Teal

Ms. Teal is the Quality Systems Director with Eurofins Environment Testing.  She has over 20 years experience in the laboratory industry, which includes QA/QC oversight and management responsibility, as well as hands-on analytical experience.  She is responsible for establishing and implementing quality assurance policies throughout a network of laboratories and has experience developing unique solutions and robust systems to comply with varied state and agency requirements.

Ms. Teal has over 20 years experience in the laboratory industry, which includes QA/QC oversight and management responsibility, as well as hands-on analytical experience.  She also has a working knowledge of numerous environmental methodologies and programs including 40CFR, NPDES, RCRA, SDWA, and DoD QSM.  She held the position of Quality Assurance Manager with Eurofins TestAmerica Savannah for 15 years and has experience developing unique solutions and robust systems to comply with varied state and agency requirements. 

In her current role as Quality Systems Director for Eurofins Environment Testing, Ms. Teal is responsible for establishing and implementing quality assurance policies throughout a network of laboratories.  She works with Laboratory Directors and local Quality Assurance Managers to meet QA goals consistent with client, regulatory, and company requirements.  Her duties include training and consultation to laboratory staff on QA issues and policies; assisting with investigations and responses to address client and/or regulatory concerns; writing, approval, and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies; and monitoring performance, evaluating risk, and driving continuous improvement efforts.
