Test, Verify & Commission Engineering Controls in Healthcare Facilities & Pharmacy Cleanrooms via SafeTraces' Methodology
In June 2023, SafeTraces will launch a training, certification, and commercial partnership program specifically focused on critical healthcare spaces and pharmacy cleanrooms.
Historically, limitations in field assessment tools have prevented accurate testing, verifying, and commissioning of engineering controls in order to ensure high performing controlled environments. Moreover, evolving compliance requirements and regulatory enforcement have made responding to these challenges more urgent and consequential than ever.
Developed with National Institutes of Health (NIH) support, SafeTraces’ biotechnology-enabled service leverages proprietary DNA-tagged aerosol tracer particles that serve as a direct challenge agent to effectively test, verify, and commission engineering controls and conduct iterative scenario-based performance testing under static and dynamic conditions.
SafeTraces provides the first and only performance-based testing, verifying, and commissioning service that simultaneously measures room segregation, air exchange, location-specific particle migration, and surface deposition concentrations in a single 20-minute test.
Software-based performance analytics are visualized in heatmap format, quantifying equivalent air change (eACH), airflow/distribution/balance, leakage, and airborne & fomite contamination and including actionable recommendations to remediate deficiencies & optimize performance.
Offered on a limited first-come, first-serve basis with Eurofins and ACE Labs, SafeTraces' training, certification, and commercial partnership program includes three required components:
- Virtual training for sales professionals
- Onsite training for testing, inspection, and certification professionals
- Application process for interested service providers to become sales distribution and service delivery partners of SafeTraces
