Allergen Testing Methods: What is MARIA® technology?

The Multiplex Array for Indoor Allergens (MARIA®) is one of the best validated and most routinely used immunoassay in allergy research, diagnosis and allergy-related quality control in various industries. It can provide accurate exposure levels for all the common allergens in the home in a single test: dust mite allergens, cat, dog, mouse, rat and cockroach and has improved sensitivity and accuracy over the traditional Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. MARIA® testing has a high quantitative reliability and provides a sensitive method for the detection of allergens in dust samples. MARIA® tests are a very popular choice for the evaluation of various research and diagnostic targets
