Microplastics are now showing up in drinking water, wastewater, surface water, soil, sediments, food and consumer products, and labs are under pressure to test them with reliable methods. In this webinar, we walk through how Eurofins analyzes microplastics across these matrices using Raman spectroscopy while following California’s SWB-MP2-Rev1 method. We’ll look at a real sample report so you can see how particle ID, size distribution, and QC are presented, and we’ll share a couple of case studies that show how real-world situations translate into lab work. We’ll also touch on current regulations, why toxicity concerns focus on the smaller size fractions, and how Eurofins supports clients with clean sampling materials and strong QA/QC to keep results defensible.
